Nut Meals

Nut meals are incredibly nutritious – containing the same array of nutrients found in a handful of nuts. Perhaps this shouldn’t come as a surprise, given that they are essentially ground-up whole nuts!

A pantry staple for baking enthusiasts, almond meal is made for tarts, biscuits, and slices. It’s got a mildly sweet, nutty kind of flavour with just the slightest hint of bitter – just like almonds. Almond meal can be substituted for regular flour at a 1:1 ratio, it’s great for flour-less baking and is a source of protein and fibre.

Lucky Hazelnut meal is made from finely ground hazelnuts. This alternative meal is a source of dietary fibre and monounsaturated fats that’s also vegan and contains less than 6g of carbohydrates per 100g.
